• How do I view the User Guide for Family Tree Legends?

Please try opening Family Tree Legends and selecting "View Contents" or "Open Printable User's Guide" from the "HELP" menu. Please be aware that the "?" icon in the toolbar (QuickHelp™) and the actual HELP menu are different features.

• Does Family Tree Legends include a printed manual?

At this time printed manuals are not available. Copies of Family Tree Legends purchased directly from Pearl Street Software, contain an electronic user guide, and do not include a printed manual.

• I can’t find feature “X” in the User Guide. Why isn’t it included?

Family Tree Legends is updated on a regular basis, and contains hundreds of features and options. Our staff does their best to keep the program’s documentation up-to-date. However, from time to time, you may find that a specific feature is not yet included in the User Guide. In most cases, the feature will be added to the software’s documentation in the next update to the User Guide. We appreciate your patience in regards to this matter.
