"I have been looking for a long time a family tree program that had the uppertunity to store my facts in a web-bank. If any virus should atac my own PC, the I would have a full copie in the web-bank for this Family Tree Legendes program. This is a good point fore me!! I lots of work could be destroid in a few second, but I feel I am safty now. I agree there should be some improvments, like a dobble checker, that whould ask me if the name your typing now, is the same as one other in your file!? I also miss the uppertunity to scroll around in a small window ( curtain ) with names around the person I am working on right now. So by click in ore could drawe the name into the posission ( right possision ) if i did something wrong. I also miss to have a main picture of the person on the file I am working on, when I am on that persons "file".... But I look forward to see if there will be new elemets to the program ??? We have a good one in Norway called Embla, which I like too."

"Family Tree Legends is one of the most user friendly programs I have. It allows me to correct and change information on my sources that other do not offer. It also has wonderful extra features like the scrapbook and notepad that make doing my reaseach fun. "Family Tree Legends (FTL) is one of the best of the genealogy programs available. I bought before the program was released and have never been sorry. If we have suggestions for additions or changes to the program Cliff Shaw is willing to listen and to incorporate as much as possible when possible. FTL is still evolving and promises to someday be the VERY best. The GenCircles program on the Internet is free and anyone can upload their GEDCOM to use the SmartMatching feature. If you have the FTL program, your data is automatically backed up on GenCircles as you work if you are logged on to the Internet. You do not need to upload a GEDCOM. Also, if there are updates to the FTL program your program on your computer is automatically updated. You do not have to be logged on to the Internet to use the program as some other programs do but when you are logged on then everything is done automatically. FTL is user friendly and the icons are nice and simplistic. If you encounter problems a quick e-mail to Cliff and his crew will get you an answer in a few days (after they research the problem) and you will get an e-mail in return. They are still "people" oriented. Try out the 30 day trial version and see what you think. Cliff gives you the 30 days so you will have worked enough with the program to truly enjoy it. There is no cost to try it and I know you will like Family Tree Legends."
